STOP PRESS!
Dear Members and Friends of Grumpy,
On Monday 30th January 2012 Grumpy received notification from AGMA (Association of Greater Manchester Authorities) that at its Executives meeting it was resolved that it is not minded to support our application for future funding (after April 2012). This represents a 100% cut in AGMA Grants Scheme funding which will mean a loss or drastic reduction in the services we provide to our members.
Grumpy are in the process of writing a letter of appeal to AGMA and this representation has to be received no later than 5pm on Monday 13th February 2012.
The Board of Trustees, staff and volunteers urge all our members to support us by contacting their local MPs and Councillors, (email: agma.grants@manchester.gov.uk) informing them of the support your organisation/group has received/receives from Grumpy and how Grumpy services make a difference and adds value to your work with children and young people.
Thank you for your continued support, Grumpy will post updates to everyone who has helped us.
Grumpy Board of Trustees
