St George's Primary School in Salford came over to see us at Grumpy and enjoyed a full day of Creative Workshops. The year 3 class were studying extreme weather so for the morning workshop, the class worked together to create 4 large banners under the topics: floods, droughts, blizzards and tornadoes. The banners, made completely out of recycled materials from the Grumpy Scrap Store, were to be taken back to school to make a colourful classroom display.
For the afternoon workshop, the class got the opportunity to learn how to make kites. The perfect activity for the warm weather at the moment!
